TX Driver Airlifted after Train Slams into Semi

The driver of a semi-truck had to be airlifted to a local hospital after his vehicle was struck by a train.

A semi-truck driver was airlifted in critical condition after a train collided with his vehicle at a rail crossing near Hockley.

Officials said the train was heading west on tracks parallel to the highway around 7:15 a.m. when it struck the semi-truck, according to a report by KHOU 11.

Officials said the driver was taken to an area hospital via Life Flight reported to be in "critical but stable condition."

The Cy-Fair Fire Department responded with Rosehill Fire Department assisted at the scene.
